Construction Staging Design
Walker Road will be improved between 173rd and 185th avenues. The map below shows the expected stages of construction. Please note, all dates are estimates and subject to change.
- Willow Creek Culvert Replacement and road closure: July-November 2026 (green/red)
- North side of Walker Road between 178th and 183rd avenues: November 2026-June 2027 (lavender)
- South side of Walker Rod between 178th and 183rd avenues: July 2027-February 2028 (orange)
- Walker Road full-depth reconstruction: March 2028 (blue)
- City of Beaverton waterline installation: October-November 2026 and July 2027-February 2028
- Tualatin Valley Water District waterline installation: October-November 2026 and July-October 2027
- Final paving and striping: March-June 2028

Typical Cross Section
The project cross section, as originally shown in 2020, includes:
- 6 foot wide sidewalks with a 4 foot curb and landscaping strip
- 5 foot wide bike lanes, buffered with a 2.5 foot buffer
- 11-12 foot wide travel lanes
- 13 foot wide center turn lane
